May Overview – The Facts
My intentions for May were all about staying open to my emotions, creativity and unconscious impulses, without being overwhelmed by them. When challenged, my goal was to remain emotionally mature and firm with my boundaries, to use my intellect to make smart decisions, to stay true to my beliefs and morals and to embody the balance between the executive and the heart. This was to be a month of finding joy, love, success, balance and happiness – enjoyment of wealth, beauty, pleasure and creativity - without vanity and egotism.
May Overview – The Reality
May was actually a little flat for me. I had quite a few “minor” challenges thrown my way and I do feel like I cleared them away easily with a level head – learning a few profound things about myself in the process, which I’m super grateful for (if I hadn’t had to deal with the challenge, I never would have worked out the main reason for it all happening!) However, to be honest, when reading the above again – I didn’t find a hell of a lot of joy, love success, balance or happiness in May, and in fact, looking back, I feel like I didn’t experience many emotions at all!
So What’s Instore for Me in June – The Facts
The card I pulled out to represent June was The Ace of Cups - abundant emotion and intuition flowing from within me and an awareness of my spiritual energy and influence.
So for June, divine love and compassion are apparently planning to pour through me. It seems I’m to be a vessel for deep, spiritual love from the Universe, and I can’t help but let that love flow through me and into the world. I receive, give and AM love. Hmmm….I’m kinda loving this!
June is the perfect time for me to open my heart and be receptive to creative opportunities, loving connections and deep compassion for other living beings. But I have to remember, that being an Ace card, this is only an invitation. The choice is up to me whether to say yes and run with it. Seriously? Of course I’m going to say yes!
June – My Plan Going Forward
When I type the above, I feel so light and can’t wait to dive in whole heartily, so to help make the most of it all, I’m going to:
Creativity| Lately I’ve been working more deeply on my online businesses – working out my personal space within them both and finding out what is authentic to me in the way I promote. So for June I’m planning to continue on this pathway, but bring in even more creativity (which is the part I absolutely adore), especially with marketing, my website and Instagram.
Meditation | A few months ago I discovered Madeleine Reinheart’s meditations on Youtube, and fell in love. They’re so loving and “pretty” and make me feel uplifted every single time. My plan is to try more and more of her meditations to help ground this wonderful feeling into each and every day.
Heart Chakra | I’ll be concentrating on the fourth chakra, located in the low centre of the chest, representing self-acceptance and love. It’s associated with the colour green and is related with the lymph glands, heart, rib cage, lungs, skin, arms, hands, circulation and the immune system. A balanced heart chakra will manifest as self-love, contentment, compassion, acceptance, peacefulness and being centred.
Essential Oils | Jasmine’s the one I want for this month as it helps to balance the emotional system, soothe anxiety and help with apathy and depression. An uplifting and joyous fragrance helping to open up the heart chakra to more love and compassion. The Young Living “Joy” blend is another I may incorporate this month as it’s filled with lemon, Mandarin, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, Jasmine, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and in particular Rose and Rosewood – two of the best oils to help open and balance the heart. Win/win
