a few years ago. Who knew that a few years after reading it I would be cooking along side the writer, Susan Loomis.
I was tres excited!
Held in a gorgeous apartment in Saint Germain des Prés, we cooked duck, mushroom ragu and poached pears....just to name a few of the dishes, before sitting down to enjoy all the food we'd prepared along with various cheeses and wines.
Using fresh, seasonal produce that Susan had picked up from the market that morning - I was in heaven!
It was wonderful to be behind a chopping board again.
