The house is over 300 years old and lives in the tiny little village of Fourmagnac, in the Midi-Pyrenees. Restored by an Australian family, it was kindly lent to us to inhabit, explore and totally relax in. This has been our "not so little" home for the past two weeks.
Wild mint grows between the cracked steps that lead up to our deck, for our daily mandatory aperitif.
Bill and Ben, our beanbags, reside in the garden behind the house under a big beautiful tree, ready for us to curl up in with a book and a cup of tea in hand under the sun, after a long hard day of eating our way around the countryside.
Jeez....it's a hard life, but someone has to do it.
